Adelle Bernadette is quickly gaining a reputation as an international artist, with her work appearing in private collections worldwide. Her ability to connect to the spiritual nature and life-force in her subject matter draws the viewer into the essence of her work. Prior to painting, Ms.Bernadette worked as a wood carver and sculptor, commissioned regularly by the Lakota First Nations’ elders and collectors for her unique ceremonial healing pieces. Self-taught in all her artistic endeavors, a life altering event prompted her to begin painting mid-life. Her paintings emerged, carrying an distinctive emotional and ethereal quality which she attributes to her journey of healing and shamanic studies. Ms.Bernadette resides in Vancouver, Canada
